Description guidelines
As a description of the item, please include:

  • For jewellery - type of gemstone, size of the stone, quality (clarity, colour) of the gemstone, weight in grams of the item and metal used. If you don't have all the information, please supply what you have;
  • For watches - reference or model number and any accessories included: box, travel pouch, spare strap or bracelet, etc. If you don't have all the information, please supply what you have;
  • For bags - simple item condition description, e.g. Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Heavily worn, approximate dimensions in width x height x depth and any accessories included, e.g. original dust bag, box, padlock, keys, clochette, detachable strap, detachable pouch etc. If you don't have all the information, please supply what you have;
  • For diamonds - size of the stone, quality (clarity, colour), weight in grams of the item and metal (if any used). If you don't have all the information, please supply what you have.
 

  • You can list multiple items for sale in a single submission.
  • To provide you with an accurate assessment, it is important for you to upload images related to your submission.
  • Watches - Please upload 3-4 images per item showing the watch's condition, including the glass, case, dial, crown, buttons, caseback, band/strap, buckle and rubbed/scratched/stained marks (if any).
  • Jewellery - Please upload 3-4 images per piece of jewellery showing the item's condition, including photos from multiple angles, stones, band, chain, clasps, the exterior, interior and rubbed/scratched marks (if any).
  • Loose diamonds - Please upload 3-4 images per diamond showing the item's condition, including photos from all angles and defects or damage (if any).
  • Designer Bags - Please upload 3-4 images per designer handbag showing the item's condition, including the exterior, interior, base corners, handles/straps and rubbed/scratched/stained marks (if any).
  • Please upload any documentation you might have on the item (a certificate, a valuation, a purchase invoice).
  • You can directly upload your images by using the Upload your images feature on this form (see above). Alternatively, you can send your images via email to selling@firststateauctions.com.au
  • We do not accept submissions of goods from outside Australia

  • Swiss Watches - including Rolex, Omega, Cartier, Chanel, Tag Heuer, Audemars Piguet, Ball, Baume & Mercier, Breitling, Breguet, Bvlgari, Chopard, Franck Muller, Girard-Perregaux, Gucci, Harry Winston, Hermes, Hublot, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Longines, Louis Vuitton, Montblanc, Maurice Lacroix, Oris, Panerai, Patek Philippe, Piaget, Vacheron Constantin, Rado, Raymond Weil, Tiffany & Co, Tudor, Ulysse Nardin, Vacheron Constantin, Van Cleef & Arpels, Versace, Zenith and other luxury brands.
  • Natural Gemstones - fine quality ruby, sapphire, emerald, tanzanite, jade, aquamarine, alexandrite, opal, South Sea pearls, citrine, garnet, morganite, topaz, tourmaline, peridot jewellery and gemstones.
  • Brand Name Jewellery - including Bvlgari, Boucheron, Canturi, Cartier, Celine, Cerrone, Chanel, Chopard, Dior, Franck Muller, Georg Jensen, Gucci, Hermes, Mikimoto, Musson, Paspaley, Piaget, Prada, Tasaki, Tiffany, Van Cleef & Arpels, Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint Laurent and other luxury brands.
  • Designer Bags - including Hermes, Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Bvlgari, Burberry, Celine, Chloe, Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Givenchy, Goyard, Loewe, Prada, Salvatore Ferragamo, Tiffany & Co, Valentino, Yves Saint Laurent and other luxury brands.

 

We do not auction lab grown diamonds, gems or silver jewellery.
